2. Set Detection Mechanism
Master making unit set detection mechanism
As flatbed section cannot be opened or closed, the unit has a mechanism in which the master making unit can
be pulled out.
The pulling out and insertion of the master making unit are conducted at print drum position-B stop position.
The master making U safety switch and the master making U lock sensor confirm that the master making unit
is set.
When the master making U safety switch turns OFF, the main motor, clamp motor, master removal compression
motor and master removal transport motor are electrically designed not to activate.
The master making unit upper cover detection mechanism
The master making unit upper cover set sensor confirms that the master making unit upper cover is set, and
the master setting operation is performed once the cover is set.
Master end detection
The end of the master roller is confirmed by the master end sensor detecting the black end mark attached on
the tail end of the master material on the master roll. The master end sensor checks every 10 ms while the
master is being transported, and the master roll replace message is indicated when the end mark is detected
twice in succession.
