The entire printed image is
faint or the color is
inconsistent.
• The ink may be dry or
the nozzles of the print
heads may be
clogged, preventing
effective discharge.
• Media feed quantity
adjustment has not
been performed.
• The number of passes
in print mode is set to a
low number.
Perform the following:
1. Perform head cleaning. For
details about head cleaning, see
page 89 "Cleaning Print Head
Nozzles".
2. Adjust media feed quantity. For
details about adjustment, see
page 91 "Adjusting the Media
Feed Quantity".
3. Change to a print mode with a
high number of passes, and then
print. For details about print mode
settings, see the RIP software
manual.
4. If the streaks remain even after
performing Steps 1 to 3, reduce
the media feed quantity manually.

and enter a value below the
optimum adjustment value.

Perform the following:
1. Check whether the media is set

wrinkled or loose. For details

heads in accordance with the
