Horizontal white lines and
thick lines appear.
• The ink may be dry or
the nozzles of the print
heads may be
clogged, preventing
effective discharge.
• Media feed quantity
adjustment has not
been performed.
• Print head alignment
has not been
performed.
Perform the following:
1. Perform head cleaning. For
details about head cleaning, see
page 89 "Cleaning Print Head
Nozzles".
2. Adjust media feed quantity. For
details about adjustment, see
page 91 "Adjusting the Media
Feed Quantity".
3. When white lines do not
disappear after performing Step
1 and Step 2, perform the print
head alignment or media feed
correction. For details about the
connection methods, see
page 107 "Performing the
Connection Methods".
White lines appear on the
printed image or the printed
image is faint.
If the operating temperature
rapidly increases, the
nozzles of the print heads
may clog and fail to
effectively discharge ink.
Perform the following:
1. Set the temperature of the
operating environment to 23°C
(73°F).
2. Perform Nozzle Cleaning: High.
