Cause
Solution
The Ethernet interface cable is not
connected correctly.
Check that the Ethernet interface cable is correctly
connected to the machine and that the machine is set
correctly. For details about how to connect the cable to
the machine, see page 28 "Connecting the Cable".
The machine's IP address entered in Web
Image Monitor is not correct.
Perform the following:
1. Check the IP address set in the machine. For
details about how to check the IP address, see
page 35 "Ethernet Configuration".
2. Enter the IP address checked in Step 1 into your
web browser's URL bar. For details about how to
display Web Image Monitor, see page 156
"Displaying Top Page".
Valid Protocol is disabled.
When the protocol setting of the connected address is
set to [Inactive] in [Valid Protocol] under [Network
Settings], set it to [Active].
