"White ink has settled. Please
shake the white ink cartridge."
If white ink cartridges are not
used for a fixed time or longer,
the ink may clog in the supply
path due to settled ink
components, or image defects
may occur when printing.
After removing the white ink
cartridge, with the connecting
parts of the white ink cartridge
facing upwards, hold a dry
cloth on the ink supply port and
lightly shake the cartridge up
and down. Set the cartridge
again. For details, see "Shaking
a White Ink Cartridge",
Requests for Daily Care and
Maintenance.
If variation occurs in the density
of white ink, perform ink
circulation. For how to adjust the
color tones, see page 195 "If
the Density of White Ink Is
Uneven".
"The waste ink line maintenance
is required. Execute the waste
ink line maintenance."
The waste ink line needs
cleaning.

details about cleaning the waste
line, see "Cleaning the Waste
Ink Line", Requests for Daily
Care and Maintenance.

needs cleaning. Clean the area
of the print head."
The area around the cap and
print heads needs cleaning.
Clean the area around the cap
and print heads. For details
about cleaning, see "Cleaning
the Caps" or "Cleaning the Area
