This is a convenient way to make recordings from your cassette deck or
turntable.
Load a CD-R or CD-RW.
If you are recording from an external
component:
Press
LINE 1
or
LINE 2
to choose the component you want
to record from.
If you are recording from the 3 CD
changer:
Follow these steps to set up recording. Push the
CD
SELECT
for the CD you want to record. Press

When recording from a CD-R or CD-RW you have to make an
analog recording (because of the copy protection encoded
into CD-Rs and CD-RWs).
If you are recording from an FM/AM tuner:
Press
FM/AM
and find some material you want to record.
Switch to the Analog input.
Consult page 72-73 and change the input of the CD or LINE 2
to digital.

When the total possible recording time of the CD-R or CD-
RW appears in the display the unit enters REC PAUSE mode.
In order to set the recording levels start
playing the component you selected in
step 2.

Analog Recording
Vous disposez ici d’un moyen pratique d’effectuer des enregistrements
depuis votre platine-cassette ou votre tourne-disque.
1.
Installez le disque CD-R ou CD-RW.
2.
Si vous enregistrez depuis un
composant externe:
Appuyez sur
LINE 1
ou
LINE 2
et choisissez le composant à
partir duquel vous voulez enregistrer.
Si vous enregistrez depuis le changeur à
3 CD:
Effectuez ces étapes pour préparer l’enregistrement. Appuyez
sur la touche
CD SELECT
, correspondant au CD à
enregistrer. Appuyez ensuite sur la touche

Lorsque vous enregistrez depuis un CD-R ou CD-RW, vous
devrez effectuer un enregistrement analogique (parce que les
CD-R et CD-RW ont un code de protection contre la copie).
Si vous enregistrez depuis un tuner FM/
AM:
Appuyez sur la touche
FM/AM
et recherchez la station que
vous désirez enregistrer.

Passez à l’entrée analogique.
Reportez-vous aux pages 72-73 et changez l’entrée de CD ou
LINE 2 en numérique.

Lorsque le total de la durée d’enregistrement possible du CD-
R ou CD-RW apparaît sur l’affichage, l’appareil se place en
mode REC PAUSE.

Afin d’ajuster les niveaux
d’enregistrement, lancez la lecture du
composant, sélectionné à l’étape 2.
