6-7 Stored Batteries
Use the following information when storing batteries.
The battery should start the storage period completely charged.
The batteries must be stored in the upright position (as it is positioned when installed in the AMR). Do
not place the batteries on their sides, top, front, or rear.
When a battery is stored for a period of more than six months, perform the following tasks at six month
intervals to properly maintain the batteries.
• Inspect the batteries for damage or leaks.
• Connect the battery to the Power Supply Box and allow it to completely charge and balance.
