Initial calibration overview
Before you can use the gauge, a relationship between the detector signal and the actual
process values must be determined. The initial calibration determines this relationship by
collecting data and measuring the actual process value. The initial calibration of the gauge
includes following steps.
1.
Verifying the correct measurement units
2.
Verifying the proper measurement span entries
3.
Determining the linearization
4.
Collecting data for the zero and span
5.
Calculating the calibration
6.
Resetting the absorber value
7.
Saving the calibration information to EEPROM
