Analyzing the Details of a Sample Site
Refer back to Figure 2-3 and the following sections for a discussion on how the
same site was analyzed and then revised as shown in Figure 2-4 .

Access points 1, 2, and 3 in the sample site ( Figure 2-3 ) cover an area with few
walls. The wall construction between the lobby and the cubicle area is sheetrock.
The cubicle partitions are five feet tall. In this environment, the range of one
BayStack 660 Access Point may be greater than the 300 feet (91 meters) used in
the estimate. Use the site survey utility to determine whether two access points are
needed in this area, or whether one would provide adequate coverage.
