Mounting Your Access Point on a Wall
To mount your
BayStack 660 Access Point
on a wall:
1.
Determine the correct position on the wall for the access point.
Be sure the device is in the correct orientation for wall mounting (
Figure 3-1
).
2.
Mark two holes on the wall, corresponding to the holes in the mounting
base of access point (again see
Figure 3-1
).
3.
Using a 5/16-inch drill bit, drill holes into the wall matching the holes in
the mounting base. If you are installing the device in wallboard, use
expansion screws.
4.
Insert a screw anchor assembly into both holes drilled.
5.
Tighten the screw until the anchor expands against the inside of the hole.
6.
Remove the screw from the anchor.
7.
Position the access point mounting bracket so that the screw holes of the
mounting bracket align with the anchor holes.
8.
Place each screw through the hole in the bracket into the anchor hole and
tighten the screw.
