MAC Commands
The MAC commands enable you to configure and to display wireless MAC layer
attributes.
The MAC commands are:
•
mac beacon-interval— sets beacon interval
•
mac dtim-period— sets DTIM period
•
mac frag-threshold— sets fragmentation threshold
•
mac rts-threshold— sets RTS threshold
•
mac show— displays MAC attributes
The syntax for the MAC commands is
mac beacon-interval <
num_tu

mac dtim-period <
num_beacon_intervals

mac frag-threshold <
num_octets

mac rts-threshold <
num_bytes

mac show
where:
num_tu is number of time units. Each TU is 1024 micro-seconds (
µ
s).
num_beacon_intervals is the number of beacon intervals.
num_octets is the number of octets.
num_bytes is the number of bytes.
