Application Menu
The following sections describe the general parameter setting procedures.
Parameters for measurements using wet or clamp-on sensors are set in different ways.
The parameter setting procedures for the submenus >Measure Place< and >v-Paths< vary
depending on the transit time mode.
Due to this, both submenus will be described separately.
28.1 Menu Measure Place
The >Measure Place< submenu is one of the most relevant basic menus when it comes to
setting parameters. The parameter set of a measurement place contains basic settings for:
• Name of measurement place
• Transit time mode
• Arrangement and number of paths
• Measurement medium and medium temperature
• Type and dimensions of channel profile
• Pipe material (incl. lining)
• Possible solid sediments settings (sludge level)
• Low-flow suppression
• Measurement damping and stability
