(2) SBF transmission
When the device is incorporated in LIN, the SBF (Sync Break Field) transmission control function is used for
transmission. For the transmission operation of LIN, refer to
Figure 14-12 LIN Transmission Manipulation
Outline
.
When the ASIM0.UARTE0 bit is set to 1, the TXD0 pin outputs a high level. Next, when the ASIM0.TXE0 bit
is set to 1, the transmission enabled status is entered, and SBF transmission is started by setting the
ASICL0.SBTT0 bit to 1.
Thereafter, a low level of bits 13 to 20 (set by ASICL0.SBL02 to ASICL0.SBL00 bits) is output. Following the
end of SBF transmission, a transmission completion interrupt request signal (INTST0) is generated and the
ASICL0.SBTT0 bit is automatically cleared. The normal transmission mode is then restored.
Transmission is suspended until the data to be transmitted next is written to the TXB0 register, or until the
ASICL0.SBTT0 bit is set to 1.
