(3) Controls and Head Unit Connections
1. Connecting the Control Unit to the Head Unit
Connect the Control Unit to the Head Unit with the interface cables. Connect the cables to
their respective connectors (i.e. with the same numbers shown above).
(i) Head Unit Connector
(ii) Galvanoscanner Connector
(iii) RF Connector
(iv) Cooling Connector
2. Connecting the Grounding Cable (v)
Connect a grounding wire between the grounding screw on the Head Unit (v) and the FG screw
on the Power Supply Terminal (v).
Secure all cables.
3. Connecting the Optical Fiber (vi)
Remove the protective cap from both ends of the Optical Fiber and the Optical Fiber
Connectors. Connect each end of the Optical Fiber to both Optical Fiber Connectors (vi).
Secure both ends of the Optical Fiber by tightening the Optical Fiber Connector screws with
the supplied wrench. When routing the Optical Fiber, never bend the fiber beyond the
minimum bend radius (150 mm). Save all protective caps in a safe place for future use.
