Lithium Battery Replacement
NOTE: The battery should be replaced approximately every 30 months (2½ years).
Required Items:
x
Replacement ER3V Battery Assembly
x
4mm Hex Driver (handle screws)
x
Phillips Screwdriver (cover screws)
x
Wire Cutter or similar tool
1. Turn all power OFF and disconnect the
unit from AC power.
Wait at least 5
minutes before starting.
2. Remove the six screws on both sides of
the Control Unit.
3. Remove the four hexagon screws
securing the transporting handles on the
top panel of the Control Unit.
4. Slide the top cover backwards
approximately ½”, then lift the cover
upward to remove.
5. Locate the battery on the Main Control
PCB on the right side of the Control
Unit.
6. Cut the tie-wrap used to secure the battery to the Main PCB.
7. Remove the battery and dispose of according to local hazardous waste disposal rules and
regulations.
8. Insert the new battery and secure with a new tie-rap.
9. Replace Cover.
