WARNING and SAFETY Labels

The following labels are attached on the Laser Marker.

Precautions for the LD (Laser Diode)

x

Frequent ON/OFF cycles will reduce the service life of the pumping LD. Do not turn off the Laser
Marker with the Emergency stop button.

x

The pumping LD has a finite life. As time passes, the output power will gradually degrade.

When the quality of the mark has degraded with the initial setting (when the laser output power
lowers), raise the LD current. You can raise the Laser Marker’s current setting up to 48 A. See

Chapter 6, Maintenance Screen

for details.
