button. The screen will change as
shown on the right.
The Serial set screen will appear as shown on the
right. Enter the appropriate values. The contents of
each item are shown in the table below.
NOTE: Press the
ENTR
button each time data is entered.
Digit count The total number of serial number digits.
Increase /
Decrease
Sets whether the next value increases or decreases from the current value.
CUR VAL
Input the initial serial number.
When marking is started, the serial number will increase (or decrease) from
the initial setting with the present value displayed on the screen.
Zero Suppress
When
ON
is selected, 0’s are added to the left of the serial number to fill the
Digit count.
Displays as 00001, 00002, 00003, etc.
Min
When selecting
Increase
for Increase/Decrease, set the minimum value to
the initial setting.
When selecting
Decrease
for Increase/Decrease, set the minimum value to
the last value.
Max
When selecting
Decrease
for Increase/Decrease, set the maximum value to
the initial setting.
When selecting
Increase
for Increase/Decrease, set the maximum value to
the last value.
Alarm output
When
ON
is selected, an alarm output signal will be present when the count-
up signal has reached the minimum or maximum value.
Clear input
When
ON
is selected, the serial number will return to the initial minimum or
maximum value, after the count reset signal is toggled.
