(2) Maintenance Procedures
This section describes the maintenance procedures that can be performed on the Marker. A routine
inspection should be performed on the Marker annually. We also recommend the Marker be refurbished
every two years to maintain peak performance.
Inspect/Clean Air Filters
Inspect the air filters daily, before operating the Marker. There are two filters, one in the Control Unit
and one in the Oscillator. Vacuum as necessary to keep clean. Every 1 to 6 months (depending on the
cleanliness of the environment), use a neutral detergent and water to clean. Be sure filter is completely
dry before operating Marker.

Phillips Screwdriver
Control Unit Air Filter
1. Remove the four 3mm screws holding the
front cover onto the laser and pull the front
cover toward you.
2. Remove the filter by spreading the four
corners of the filter.
3. Clean the Filter as necessary. If the filter is
wet, allow it to completely dry before re-
installing it back into the Marker.
4. Install the air filter back into the Control
Unit and secure all four corners.
5. Install the front cover back onto the Marker.
Oscillator Air Filter
1. Remove the three 3mm screws on the
rear of the Oscillator.
2. Remove the air filter from the cover.
Clean as necessary. If the filter is wet,
allow it to completely dry before re-
installing it back into the Oscillator.
3. Install the air filter and cover back onto
the Oscillator and secure both screws.
