Restoring Memory Card Contents
When the contents of the CF Memory Card get corrupted or when the CF card is replaced, the
previously saved memory contents may be restored back onto the CF memory card using the procedure
below. A compact flash reader or a compact flash adapter is necessary for back-up.
Required Items:
x
PC equipped with a compact flash reader or compact flash adapter
1.
Insert the CF memory card into the PC compact flash reader or compact flash adapter.
2.
Double-click the
My Computer
icon and verify the memory card is recognized as a removable
drive. If the drive is present, the contents may be backed-up. If not, refer to the compact flash
reader/adapter for details.
3.
Choose
Select All
from the
Edit
Menu.
4.
Press the
Delete
key.
5.
Navigate to the directory that contains the back-up data and choose
Select All
from the
Edit
menu.
6.
Select
Copy
from the
Edit
Menu.
7.
Navigate back to the memory card drive and select
Paste
from the
Edit
menu.
Restoration is now complete.
NOTE:
If any problems occur, such as
“the memory card is not recognized”,
then format the
memory card in a
FAT16
format. Verify the volume name is
FEEL
Checking Memory Card Capacity
If any problems such as “data can not be created with the Operation Unit” or “data can not be transferred
from the PC” occur, check the storage capacity of the compact flash memory card.

Insert the CF memory card into the PC compact flash reader or compact flash adapter.
2.
Double-click the
My Computer
icon and verify the memory card is recognized as a removable
drive. If the drive is present, the contents may be backed-up. If not, refer to the compact flash
reader/adapter for details.
3.
Select the icon for the memory card, then select the right mouse button and choose
Properties
from the menu.
NOTE:
If the free space is 10% or less of the total memory capacity,
a larger memory card
must be used
(sold separately).
