How to set CAD width and height.
A converted CAD graphic is oriented
with respect to the graphic origin.
Choose the lower left portion of the
graphic as the origin. The height and
width are then defined using
coordinate positions from the origin.
If the maximum specified coordinate position differs from the CAD width (or height), the
following conditions will apply:
If the maximum specified coordinate position > CAD width (or height). A conversion
will be made to the resolution of the CAD width (or height) so that it fits within the
specified coordinate area.
If the maximum specified coordinate position < CAD width (or height). A conversion
will be made so that the CAD width (or height) will fit within the specified coordinate
area.
If the coordinate origin is not specified on the lower left, the default start coordinate
position in the layout properties will be used.
How to specify a resolution
The resolution of large CAD images are converted to fit within the specified
coordinate area. Therefore, the higher (up to 32000) the resolution, the more accurate
the graphic conversion.
