Operation Unit (POD)

Used for operating the Laser Marker, and creating and editing the marking data.

a.

POWER Indicator

Lights up when the power is supplied to the Operation Unit.

b.

Touch Panel Display

Can be operated by touching directly. This also displays the status of the equipment.

c.

Function Switches

Not used on this equipment. Do

not

touch them.

d.

Emergency Stop Button

Press this button when you want to stop the equipment during operation. When pressed
the marking operation stops and LD is turned OFF. Once pressed, this button remains
locked in this state. Rotate the button in the direction shown by arrow to cancel.

NOTE:

Frequent use of this button reduces the service life of LD remarkably. Stop the

equipment by normal operation except in an emergency.

Brace

Used for supporting the Operation Unit when it’s on top of the Control Unit.
