Replace the LD insulating cover.

Install the top cover back onto the
Control Unit. And slide the top cover
forward to secure it.

When starting the equipment for the
first time after an LD Module change,
be sure to reset the LD total hours,
wavelength and LD current limit values
(see next section). Failure to update this
information may result in decreased
efficiency and decreased output power.
Resetting/Changing the LD Module system parameters
The LD Module will degrade over its lifetime.
To compensate for the degradation, the LD
current should be raised approximately 1A for
every 1000 hours of use. The LD Current limit
may be raised as necessary to fulfill this
requirement.
Whenever an LD Module is changed, the
following parameters
must
be updated in the
system:

LD Wavelength
x
LD Current limit
