Throughout the rest of this manual, the LMV1000 (G) and LMV1000 (G)(E) (ML-7110A and ML-
9000A) Laser Markers will simply be referred to as
the Marker
. These Markers use a scan head to steer
the output beam of an LD-pumped Nd:YVO

laser crystal.

Permanent marking
Unlike ink, the marking is permanent because the laser beam changes the material itself.

No solvent is needed because no ink is used. Recycling the material is easy because it is not
blended with ink.

Fine letters and fine pictures
Fine marking is easily possible. It is optimal for marking on minute parts.

Non-contact marking
Marking onto a curved or concave plane is possible.
