At this point, the cabling will look somewhat like that shown in 
Figure 2-12. 

7.  Connect the power cord to the back of the GTXI-700 and plug 

it in. See Figure 2-1 and Figure 2-2 for the location of the AC 
Line Receptacle. 

8.  Turn on the power to the GTXI-700 platform by pressing both 

the Main and the Auxiliary switches at the same time. Wait for 
the boot sequence to complete. 

Note

:  

Some PC-based instruments require that their drivers 
be loaded by the CONFIG.SYS file. This is the reason 
the GTXI-700 instruments are turned on at the same 
time with the GTPC controller module. 

9.  Run the GTXI utility program GTXICFG.EXE. This utility is 

used to assign resources to and from the GTPC and the GTXI-
700. Verify assignments are correct. Refer to Chapters 3 and 4 
for further instructions. 

10.  The GTXI-700 is now ready for use.
