GTXI User's Guide
Applying Configuration Changes
After making the necessary changes to the GTXI ini file, apply the
changes to the system in one of the following ways:
Select the
Apply!
command from the menu bar.
or,
From the File menu, select
Save, Apply & Exit
to save the
changes, apply them to the system, and exit from GTXI-Config in a
single step.
Applying Configuration Changes on Startup
The computer will configure the GTXI at boot time if the
AUTOEXEC.BAT file contains the GTXISET command. The
procedure for automatic configuration using this method is to either
change to the directory where GTXI software exists, or provide the
GTXI.INI filename with the GTXISET command.
For example, if the GTXI-Config software is installed in C:\GTXI,
and the GTXI initialization file is named GTXI.INI, add the
following statement to the beginning of the AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
C:\GTXI\GTXISET C:\GTXI\GTXI.INI
The GTXISET command can also be run from the DOS command
line. For example,
CD \GTXI
GTXISET /?
will cause the GTXISET to display it's commandline help and
syntax, which is:
[path] GTXISET [/?][/v][INI FILE]
