column, enter an optional description of the
system component for that address space.
For example, to allocate the memory space from 1MB to 1MB +
64KB to an A/D board, make the following entries in the User-
Defined Memory Space section of the window:

Address D000-D7FF is the address to the GTXI platform for the
instrument 1553 communications board.
Notes:
The address range entries are 1/16th of the actual address
locations.
When making a memory address assignment – either user-
defined or from a predefined address range – a jumper
switch on the GTXI carrier board must be set to correspond
to the new setting. See
