23. Maintenance
Memory Test
This page performs a memory test. You can view the results by opening a Telnet session from your control PC.

Boot the unit in
Perform Memtest

button to start the test.
The system performs the memory test and stores a log file.

To view the results, open a

memtest
" and press Enter - a list of options are presented:

Note that the memtest command is only valid while the unit is running in Boot Mode.

Replacing Defective Parts
The IO cards fitted to expansion slots 1 and 2 can be
from the front of the unit, allowing fast
replacement in the case of a hardware failure. Providing the card is of the same type and fitted to the same slot
as the faulty card, the new card will immediately take over the same functions.
The MADI daughter board can be
