22. The Firmware Update Tool

22.3.1

Updating a RAVENNA IO Card

If a RAVENNA IO card is fitted to the Compact Engine, then this must be treated as a separate device.

In this instance, you will need a valid network connection to one of the streaming ports. The current network
settings can be checked from the front panel display. If ETHERNET B has not been configured for streaming,
then its default IP address = 192.168.110.253. If the streaming port lies within a different subnet, then you may
need to adjust the

network settings

of the PC's LAN port.

Having made a valid network connection, repeat the firmware update procedure to check and update the
RAVENNA IO card.
