Software Module Interrogation

Whenever you select a component on the right of SoP Explorer, you will see the following information for all of
its software modules.

Ø

Status -

the revision status of the firmware (compared to the version included with the SoP installer):

Software is up to date.

Software requires an update.

Software cannot be updated by the SoP Explorer release.

NEW

Software is newer than the SoP Explorer release.

OLD

Software cannot be identified. This may occur if you have not updated the system for a while. You
should update the module and then refresh the connection.

Ø

Slot -

the hardware address of the component:

·

IOs

- the slot number within the DSP Core frame.

·

Surface

- the CAN bus address of the module or panel.

·

System

- is always 031 (the control system).

Ø

Hardware

- the part number of the component.

Ø

Rev:

- the hardware revision of the component.

Ø

Software:

- the name of the software module.

Ø

Version:

- the current version running on the module.

Ø

Timestamp:

- the date and time when the current version was created (if available).

Ø

Version (SoP):

- the version included in the SoP release.

- the date and time when the SoP version was created.

- the hardware revision required to perform an update.
