10. Audio Mix Engine

10.1.6

Assigning DSP to Sources

On the Compact Engine, DSP is allocated on a source-by-source basis.

Select the source you wish to edit in the 'Tree Definition' and open the

Parm

tab.

Use the

Op Disable

checkboxes to disable operator control of a processing module from the control

surface.

To assign a de-esser or automixing, enable the

DeEsser / AutoMix

box. This option is available on mono

sources only.

The signal processing is described in more detail later, see

DSP Parameters

You can keep track of how many resources are available by opening the "

Command -> Resources

" window.
