The floor conveyor chain tension can be adjusted above the cutting system, under the floor
conveyor. Check the floor conveyor chain tension of the loading wagon before starting work and
readjust if necessary.
Checking the chain tension of the floor conveyor:
Check the chain tension for the floor conveyor by pressing in. The pretension is correct if the
depth of pressing is “a
≥
approx. 30-60 mm”. Correct the pretension if necessary.
Correcting the chain tension of the floor conveyor:
To do this:
• Loosen all the screw points (4) on the end plates (3) (in the front of the loading wagon)
•
Loosen the nuts (1)
•
Increase the floor conveyor tension by screwing in the screws (2)
•
Tighten the nuts (1)
•
Tighten all the screw points (4) on the end plates (3)
Note
The floor conveyor chain must not be pretensioned too tightly. The floor conveyor chain must
indicate a press-in depth of at least a = 30 mm.
