4.2 CAN bus interface - Female connector X19
This chapter describes the JX2 system bus interface and a CANopen®
interface (CANopen® STX API) on the JC-120MC.
At connector X19 two CAN buses are brought out.
To use both CAN buses, connect a Y-cable to connector X19.
One end of the Y-cable (CAN 1) lets you use either the JX2 system bus
protocol, or the CANopen® protocol. The protocol can be selected in
R 200002077. The other end of the cable (CAN 2) lets you use the CANopen®
protocol. To implement the functions of the CANopen® protocol, the
CANopen® STX API is used.
The CAN bus 1 (JX2 system bus) lets you connect the following devices:
JX2-I/O modules
JX2 slave modules
Servo amplifiers JetMove 1xx, JetMove 2xx, and JetMove 6xx
IP67 modules LioN-S and LJX7-CSL
Third-party CANopen® modules, e.g. valve terminals
CAN bus 1 or 2 (CANopen® STX API) lets you connect the following devices:
CANopen® modules
