Installing the Midplane
To install the midplane, follow these steps:
1. Review the safety and ESD information at the beginning of this manual and in the
appendices.
2. From the rear of the chassis, gently insert the midplane into the chassis taking care to
properly orient the board by lining up the 12 screw holes (see letter “A” in Figure 47 ).
3. Once in place, secure the midplane to the chassis using the 12 screws (see letter “B” in
Figure 47 ).
Take care not to tighten the screws until all screws are in place; do not overtighten.
