SIP
The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) feature enables the camera to be configured as a SIP User Agent that can
register with a SIP server to make and receive audio calls to another SIP device, for example, a SIP IP phone or
softphone. The camera can operate as a SIP phone if it is equipped with an external microphone and speaker. The
camera can also be configured to monitor the audio from a SIP call and make this available as an RTSP/RTP
stream.
Enable/Disable SIP
Enable/Disable SIP on the camera.

check box to enable SIP

Clear the
Enabled
check box to disable SIP.
The default setting is 'Disabled'.
