Restore configuration (EFCM Basic Edition)
To restore the director configuration file from the PC communicating
with the EFCM Basic Edition interface:
1. Notify the customer that the director will be set offline. Ensure the
system administrator quiesces Fibre Channel traffic through the
director and sets attached devices offline.
2. Set the director offline ( Setting the director online or offline on
page 190).
3. Select Restore Configuration from the Maintenance menu at any
view. The Restore Configuration View displays ( Figure 68 ).

4. At the Download Configuration file from field, select the file from the
PC hard drive using the Browse button or type the filename.
5. Click Send and Load Configuration. A message box displays,
indicating any browser operation will terminate the configuration
download.
6. Click OK to download the configuration. The process takes
several minutes, during which the browser is unavailable. When
the process completes, the message Configuration restored
successfully.

Reset configuration data (EFCM Basic Edition)
When configuration data is reset to factory defaults, the director
defaults to the factory-set IP address and all optional features are
disabled. To reset configuration data to factory defaults:
