Obtaining log information
The SAN management application, Element Manager application,
and EFCM Basic Edition interface provide access to logs with
information for administration, operation, and maintenance
personnel.
• Logs accessed through the SAN management application
(EFCM). Fabric-log information:
— Event log.
— Fabric log.
— Product status log.
• Logs accessed through the Element Manager application.
Director-log information.
— Event log.
— Hardware log.
— Link incident log.
— Port threshold alert log.
— Open trunking log.
— Embedded port log.
— Switch fabric log.
• Logs accessed through the EFCM Basic Edition interface:
— Event log.
— Link incident log.
— Open trunking re-route Log.
— Fabric log.
— Embedded port frame log.
SAN management logs
The SAN management application provides access to logs that
contain fabric-level maintenance information. At the application
main window, select the Logs option from the Monitor menu, then
click (select) the desired log option.
