Half-Height Drive Space Problems
Problem Action
The IDE device in the
half-height drive space
does not work. Verify that:
1. The device is connected firmly in the half-height drive
space connector. Remove and reinstall the device by
referring to step 5a on page 51.
2. Correct setup (including resource assignment and device
driver installation) was done when you installed the device.
3. No more than two IDE devices are installed including the
devices on the UltraBay tray.
4. IDE 2 is enabled.
5. The mode selection has been set correctly.
The SCSI device in the
half-height drive space
does not work. Verify that:
1. The device is connected firmly in the half-height drive
space connector. Remove and reinstall the device by
referring to step 5b on page 53.
2. Correct setup (including resource assignment and device
driver installation) was done when you installed the device.
3. The terminator is disabled.
