How to Run Tests
The diagnostic test program for internal devices is provided in the
Easy-Setup program contained in your computer.
Internal Drive Test
The Easy-Setup test program on the computer is used to test the
device in the docking station. This section explains how to select the
devices in the docking station. If you need instructions to invoke the
test, or interpret the test results, see the user's guide for your
computer.
The following figure shows an example of the test devices selection
menu. Devices in the docking station are enclosed by a rectangular

The testable devices in the docking station are:
CD-ROM drive in the UltraBay
Diskette drive in the UltraBay
Hard disk drive in the UltraBay
PCMCIA slots
Most parts of the docking station logic board are also tested when you
run the device tests.
