The PowerTrust UPS can be shipped or stored under the following (non-operating)
conditions and environmental limits:
• The UPS/BATTERY switch must be in the

• Battery Pack: The shelf life of a battery pack depends on the temperature of the
storage area. The charge on a battery should not be allowed to drop below 50%.
Figure 2-7 shows how long a battery pack takes to reach a 50% charge at 40

F). Figure 2-8 shows the time for the battery
capacity to decrease to 50% over temperatures ranging from 18
