Check the connection of the oil pressure switch connector (loose-
ness and poor contact).

Set the starter key to the "LOCK" position.

Disconnect the oil pressure switch connector.
3.
Use the electrical tester to measure the resistance between the
terminals of the oil pressure switch and ground.

Inspect the oil pressure switch connector
Was any failure found?
Connect securely, repair if needed.
Perform "After-inspection work" of INFOR-
MATION section.
Go to step 4.

Standard values
• Stop the engine (OFF)
• Start the engine (ON)
With engine stopped:
Less than 1
With engine running:
Do the measurements meet the standard value?
Go to step 5.
Replace the oil pressure switch.
Perform "After-inspection work" of INFOR-
MATION section.
