INTRODUCTION TO TROUBLE SHOOTING FOR EACH DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE

The "diagnosis code list" and the "trouble shooting for each code" are contained in this document to address
each system for which a diagnosis monitor code will be output. If a diagnosis monitor code is already identified,
it is possible to immediately proceed with a trouble shooting process based on the code list.

1.
Turn the starter key to the "LOCK" position.
2.
Connect the diagnostic tester (HINO DX

) to the vehicle.
3.
Turn the starter key to the "ON" position.
4.
On the diagnostic tester screen, select [VCS] and check that no
vehicle speed signal-related DTC, P0501 or P0503, is detected.
