Start the engine and maintain the engine revolution at 1,500 r/min
using the cruise function.
2.
Check the engine sound before the test (during normal operation).
3.
On the screen of the diagnostic system, select [Engine], and per-
form [Cut off test] in [Data monitor and Active test].

For the detailed procedure, refer to the separate sheet "Cut off test".
<Cylinder cut-off test>
- Test to determine cylinder combustion abnormality of the engine usu-
ally operated by four cylinders, according to the sound difference
when the fuel injection from any one of the cylinders is stopped.
