Configuration of the System via the Service Interface – Chapter 10
If you use HyperTerminal, you can start the monitor program directly by double-click
-
ing the corresponding *.ht file:
Monitor19200.ht
for 19200 Baud
Monitor38400.ht
for 38400 Baud
If necessary, you have to adjust the COM port (see 8.2 „Configuring the Terminal Pro
After starting the monitor program, wait at least 10 s (or 26 s if the auto tune
function is activated).
You can now transfer the appropriate text file with the monitor program.
The following four files are available:

Mon3964r.txt
Transfer this if the system is switched to procedure
3964R
with „
HighByte
first
“.The file contains the following characters in hexadecimal notation:
0x02 0x4D 0x4F 0x4E 0x49 0x10 0x03 0x16
2.
Mon6439r.txt
Transfer this if the system is switched to procedure
3964R
with „
LowByte
first
“. The file contains the following characters in hexadecimal notation:
0x02 0x4F 0x4D 0x49 0x4E 0x10 0x03 0x16

Montrans.txt
Transfer this if the system is switched to procedure
Transparent
with

“. The file following contains the characters in hexadecimal
notation:

Transmon.txt
Transfer this if the system is switched to procedure

Using HyperTerminal you transfer the file as follows:
Select the item
Send Text File
from the
Transfer
menu.
The following dialog opens:

Switch to the storage location of the files and select the corresponding *.txt file.
Click on
Open
.
The file is transferred and (if correctly selected) the monitor program is started.
The menus then appear directly in the HyperTerminal window. You will first see
the main menu from Figure 23 on page 50.
