6. In-service maintenance
Check whether the coolant level in the
expansion tank is between the upper limit mark
“MAX” and the lower limit mark “MIN”.
NOTE
When the engine is not cooled, the coolant
level will be high, and there will be errors in
checking the coolant level.
CAUTION
When the coolant level is lower than the
lower limit mark “MIN”, coolant must be
added. Insufficient coolant will affect the
cooling effect and cause engine damage.
Adding coolant
After checking the coolant level, if required,
add coolant following the steps below:

Wrap the expansion tank cap with a thick
cloth and unscrew it counterclockwise.

Add the coolant until the coolant level
reaches the “MAX” mark.

Turn the expansion tank cap clockwise to
the locking point.
