5.4.19 Head-up display (HUD)*
HUD description
The head-up display or heads-up display is
referred to as HUD for short. The HUD image
is projected onto the front windshield through
the HUD device in the instrument cluster.
The HUD image will automatically darken or
brighten to compensate for changes in outside
light. The brightness of the HUD image can be
adjusted manually if necessary. Depending on
the angle and position between the sunlight
and the HUD, the HUD image will temporarily
brighten, which is normal.
NOTE
● Make sure the HUD image is in proper
brightness and in comfortable field of
view.
● Polarized sunglasses may make it
harder to see the HUD image.
