6. In-service maintenance
Inspecting the oil level
Be sure to check the oil level regularly. Park
the vehicle on a level ground, apply the park
brake, and shut down the engine. After the
engine cools down, open the engine hood and
check the oil level.
WARNING
● Be extremely careful while working in
the engine compartment.
● The engine compartment is a high-
risk area. Be sure to read and follow
the relevant warning instructions
carefully before opening the engine
hood.
NOTE
While checking the oil level, ensure the
engine is cold.

Pull out the oil dipstick.

Wipe off the oil stains on the dipstick
using a clean cloth, and then insert the oil
dipstick to the end.

Pull out the dipstick again and read the
measured oil level: The oil level shall be
between the minimum scale mark

and
maximum scale mark

If there is too little engine oil, please
add engine oil in time. Otherwise, poor
lubrication will damage the engine.
