Using the Pump for the First Time

6.3

Powering on

Make sure the pump is correctly installed at the bedside.

See section 5, page 26.

Plug the pump into the AC power supply.

See section 17.1, page 122.

Before starting the pump for the first time, you must charge the

battery for approximately

6 hours

Wait until the pump is fully charged.

Do not use the pump during the first charge.

Power on the pump.

See section 6.3, page 32.

Install a syringe into the pump.

See section 6.4, page 34.

Information



The pump can operate using the battery; however, we

recommend that the pump be connected to a power supply as

often as possible during use in order to ensure that the battery

remains charged.



When the pump is connected to the power supply, check that the

power supply indicator

lights up green, and that the power

cord and the wall plug are accessible.

Press

An auto-test checks the functionality of the pump.

Immediately after powering on the pump, make sure that all LED

lights blink.

Acknowledge the different screens listed in the table below.
