Once the bitumen pressure has dropped to 0
bar, turn the selector switch for Spraying/Cir-
culation (k) to position "Circulation".
l
Turn the potentiometers for binder pump (m)
and reaction water flow rate (n) to position "ze-
ro flow".
l
Switch off the compressor (c).
l
Switch off the thermal oil heater (f).

Close the Peet valve (2) (Fig. 198) on the suc-
tion hose completely and disconnect the hose.

Caution
Only switch the main battery switch to position
"0" after the fan on the thermal oil heater burn-
er has stopped running.
Heat exchanger and burner may otherwise be
destroyed.

Blowing out bitumen sys-
tem and spray bar

Disconnect the suction hose and close the
Peet-valve completely.

Set the selector switch for spraying/circulation
(k) (Fig. 199) to position "Circulation".
l
Switch on the compressor (c).
l
Set the binder quantity potentiometer (m) to
medium flow.
l
Open all spraying sections (n).
l
Set the selector switch for spraying/circulation
(k) to position "Spraying".

Open the ball valve (1) (Fig. 200).
l
Switch the 3-way ball valve (2) to position
"Right" (Air).
