6.10 Checking the condition of
the cutters
!
Danger
Life hazard!
Do not lift and support the rotor hood with a
jack or similar.
When working on the rotor keep all persons
out of the cabin or off the operator's platform.
!
Caution
If necessary check the condition of the cutting
teeth several times a day, in order to prevent
damage to the rotor.
Change damaged cutting teeth immediately,
see chapter "Replacing cutting teeth/holders".

Start the engine and run it at idle speed.

Turn the rotary switch for parking brake (Fig.
210) to the "right" (parking brake applied).

The parking brake warning light (j) (Fig. 211) in the
instrument cluster for machine functions lights up.

Lift the rotor by operating the lever ”rotor up/
down” (Fig. 212), until the rotor hood is in high-
est position.

Press the tailgate lever (Fig. 213) to the left,
until the tailgate is completely open.
