5.1 Inspection before starting
the binder dosing system
Before starting the binder dosing system

fore a longer working period the following tests
and inspections must be performed.

Danger
Danger of accident!
The system must not be operated in case of
leakages or damage.
Any defects must be rectified immediately!

The condition of all hoses and fittings, espe-
cially of all binder hoses and their clamping
jaw connections and couplings
l
The state of all thermal hoses, their screw fit-
tings and couplings
l
Check for leakages on components of the
binder, thermal oil and reaction water circuits
l
Check the reaction water level, top up if neces-
sary.
l
Check the oil level in the reaction water pump,
top up if necessary
l
Check the oil level in compressor and service
unit, fill up if necessary.
l
Drain the water from the service unit inspec-
tion bowl
l
Thermal oil level, top up if necessary
l
Check the contamination of the hydraulic oil fil-
ters
l
Check the binder pump for leaks
l
Check the spraying sections for leaks.
5.2 Preparing for work

Open both ball valves (Fig. 173) at the right
and left of the spray bar.

Close both ball valves (Fig. 174) to the clean-
ing tank.
